Schneider Kreuznach present new motorised C-mount lenses

8 Feb 2013

Schneider Kreuznach has developed new motorised versions of its proven C-mount industrial lenses Cinegon, Xenoplan and Tele-Xenar.

The 16 new lenses, presented by Schneider Kreuznach at the end of 2012, are motorised versions of its proven C-mount industrial lenses Cinegon, Xenoplan and Tele-Xenar. The lenses are fitted with an industrial P-Iris standard connector and a stepper motor for digital control. The iris is designed for a long service life of over 100,000 cycles under demanding industrial conditions.

Thanks to the motorised iris, the lenses can be used under variable light conditions, e.g. in traffic control or for inspection tasks where the brightness of the object is changing.
